If perfect trips exist, this was certainly one of them.
Great initial planning and flawless execution helped the trip not only meet but exceed my expectations—actually, I'd say it fulfilled my hopes. Alvaro provided excellent guidance during the preparation period: from choosing the trekking route and managing the budget, to sharing helpful lifehacks and preparation details. I've always traveled in groups before, so this was my first solo trip—and I really enjoyed and benefited from the format. Alvaro was always communicative, and his advice was timely and valuable.
The local team I met in Kathmandu was very helpful and welcoming. But the real hero of the trip was Manoj—without a doubt, one of the best guides in all of Nepal. I had some previous trekking experience, including in Nepal, but the level of care and insight Manoj provided was new to me.
A huge part of the trip's success was thanks to him: we stuck to the plan precisely, summited Kyangjin Ri and Tserku Ri, and returned safely—without any issues like altitude sickness, sunburn, injuries, or exhaustion. That's a first for me—I've always come back from Nepal treks feeling a bit unwell. This time, everything felt just right.
We truly operated as a team—Manoj, Prabin (our amazing porter), and me. I sincerely hope they enjoyed the journey as much as I did. Manoj is intelligent, deeply experienced, highly empathetic, and has a profound understanding of the region and the psychology of trekking. The level of care and attention I received was truly incredible.
It goes without saying: I wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone planning a trip to Nepal, and I'm already looking forward to my next adventure with them.
